I have been developing a small application, to help me learn some new software and, I have just uploaded a free small windows application that will allow you to manage SlideShowPro Galleries without needing Flash or PhotoShop, once again it is free to download and use as you want, it is in Alpha release so any feedback is most welcome

The three modules Import, Excel Export and Web Browser are now ready for download in an alpha release, from my website.

From the home page, register as a user, and then you can download from the download page.
Use the feedback panels, and the Image Tools page for information, or there is an Image Tools Forum, these three modules are and shall remain free of charge for their lifespan.

The software is written in Microsoft VB.NET and will ask you to install Dot.Net Framework 3.5 from Microsoft, when you install it will use the Windows Installer, the data will be on you drive in a folder called Adeptris/Data the Thumbnails will be in Adeptris/Images/ and in Galleries and Albums, to uninstall any Module, use start > control Panel > Add or Remove Programs

I work full time so questions will be answered evenings and weekend, I plan a couple of more modules for slideshow and keywords so the more feedback the better, if you see any Google ads you like do use the links, the cent’s these produce helps cover the site costs.

I have other downloads on my site for a SlideShowPro Paypal Cart, this has over 90 users and has had over 270 downloads so the hosted site is secure, the software asks for no passwords or sends no data back

We have been working on a user logon module screen, where the user will be given a user name and password to open thier chosen albums, view this on the Test Gallery page, Registered users can logon and setup test thier own users on the Test Logon page, and will be able to view a new website project we are working on, to replace our gallery

This is not a security module as SlideShowPro as a savvy user can exract the images from your website by tracing the xml source, buy that would be the 0.01% of users, most would not know how to extract an image

Watermarks are ugly and spoil the user experience, so the only advice we can give is to upload your large images at a lower resolution and optimised for the web, there are some Photoshop actions out there and even one on the Slide Show site

 We have been working on PayPal Checkout to use with SlideShowPro the Flash fla can be downloaded FREE from the download page for registered users

If you do not own a copy of SlideShowPro the basic cart script can also be downloaded 

Later we will develop a plugin for Flash to deal with multi level pricing for various checkouts, as there is little out there that deals with pricing at a Size and Finish level
