Album Users

I have setup the first two albums with the logon Adeptris and adeptris, use these if you do not want to add your own, registered user will see a page Test Logon where they can add there own users to test, also they can post feedback and requests in the forum, this is the start of this module so it is a bit jumpy, please read below

The way this module works is to use a variant of DES3 to encrypt some data in the xml file, this is then dycrypted to find the users album, the file is checked on 3 values, User Name, Email and Album ID, this means "Fred Smith" can have access to more than one Album, as we use the email we can have more than one "Fred Smith"

Requested Features Identifed

"Date limited" users, where you can limit the time the user can logon, this is handy for setting up users in advance, if you are covering an event you could say the images will be available from a future data and provide the login details in advance, also you may want a time limited exhibition of your work by email initation which expires on a set date.

There is also plans for the user to be able to enter there email and retrieve thier password, email templates for this and a feature to send the details to the email you have entered

As this site is run on director the module can post the data live via a php page, but this means that it is not usable by site that are not setup to take the file from the php, so we plan to have a popup panel where you can copy the xml, so you can create a local file and ftp this up to your website
